A Masterclass in Monochrome at Celtic Ross Hotel: Katrina & Jamie
Katrina and Jamie tied the knot on a sun-kissed December day in West Cork and their celebration showed why a monochrome wedding can be so utterly magical. 200 of their nearest and dearest joined them as they exchanged vows at St. Fachtna’s Church in Rosscarbery. Katrina was an enchanting vision with her sleek, fit and flare gown which she accessorised with a show-stopping floral embroidered veil and statement flower earrings. Snowy white roses formed a foundation of their wedding day style, from the elegant bouquets to the stunning floral ceremony doorway display. The couple were joined by a very special VIP guest their adorable son Rian and they picked a very sentimental spot for their wedding photos: Warren Pier. The family go walking there every day so it was so special for them to mark their special day there.
From the black bows that formed a focal point of the tablescape styling to the tiered wedding cake, ultra elegant accents abounded at their reception at Celtic Ross Hotel. Post-dinner entertainment included singing waiters, a dazzling sparkler photo and a dancefloor-filling band, so it was certainly a party to remember. Ray Terry Photography lensed their special day exquisitely and you can see even more of the husband and wife photography team’s work on their website.
A Floral Filled Fantasy in Ontario: Torera & Bunmi
Toronto-based couple Torera and Bunmi no doubt felt like royalty on their immensely elegant wedding, which was captured in all its glory by F10 Studio. They dreamed of a simple but classy celebration led by white décor and flowers with pops of green and gold. They instantly fell for the regal allure of Hazelton Manor in Vaughan, Ontario. The bridal party style was stunningly chic, from the glowing bride in her off-the-shoulder A-line gown to her ladies in the prettiest pink satin bridemaids dresses.
We can only imagine how enchanted their guests were from start to finish, and the magic began at their ceremony which played out against a spine-tingling soundtrack of violin and saxophone. From their stationery to their reception tablescape, gilded notes reigned. Their reception was a floral fairytale and a key highlight was their majestic multi-tiered wedding cake which was adorned with sugar flowers. An Intimate City Wedding Filled with Charm and Craic: Sarah & Niall
This small wedding was huge on style! Sarah and Niall exchanged vows in an intimate and full-of-joy city wedding. The couple wanted to keep their big day on the intimate side so they spend time with their wonderful guests. The couple’s style was impeccable with Sarah opting for a sleek, long-sleeved column gown while Niall wore a slick suit which included a cream blazer and waistcoat. Faye Whitfield Photography joined them for the magical ride in Dublin’s fair city and after they exchanged vows in the registry office a pub crawl to their favourite haunts ensued, which included an, unplanned, lively trad session in O’Donoghue’s!
Sweetly, the newlyweds were showered with well-wishes and words of marriage wisdom from people they passed on the street. The couple held their reception in the uber-stylish Fade Street Social. The party didn’t end there either. As it was onto Ukiyo for surprise karoake. Want to see more stunning wedding photography? Head to the Faye Whitfield Photos website so!
An Autumnal Fairytale at Marlfield House: Megan & Conor
Megan and Conor’s beautiful wedding day exuded relaxed luxury. The couple tied the knot at Marlfield House in Co. Wexford and Bronte Photography was right on hand to capture every magical moment. Radiant bride Megan was breathtakingly chic in a Jesus Peiro ballgown wedding dress with a sharp V-shaped halter neck. Her bridal party proved why brown bridesmaids dresses are such an elegant choice, as they wore liquid satin halter gowns in cinnamon shades. They were magically set off by the cream and rosey hued bouquets they carried.
After exchanging vows in a romantic church ceremony, it was onto the luxurious country house where they took advantage of the lush gardens for their wedding photos. Conor’s friend Nathan helped provide the note-perfect soundtrack to their special day. Their reception was refined with vibrant blooms bringing a splash of romantic colour. It was the father of the groom’s birthday and they marked the special occasion oh-so sweetly with an extra special wedding cake topper. You can see more of Bronte Photography’s portfolio here.
