We’ll be dreaming of today’s real wedding forever! This enchanting and elegant celebration takes us to the regal surrounds of Castle Leslie Estate in Co. Monaghan where Áine & Cillian celebrated their happiest day with 200 of their loved ones. With timeless yet fresh bridal style, every detail of their August celebration was so heart-flutteringly gorgeous.
They wanted a classic aesthetic but shook it up with a breathtaking red and pink floral display with “good food, good music, and good craic” being a top priority. With natural photography from Weddings by Jason that is so packed with heartfelt emotion, we know you will fall in love with their dream day.

Áine and Cillian are both from Louth and they live there today. Their happily ever after began when they met through friends of friends and when they got sitting beside each other in a pub one Christmas they really hit it off.

Cillian picked a sentimental and stunning location to propose. He popped the question while they were staying in the seaside village of San Vicente de la Barquera in the north of Spain where he went on family holidays every year.

Áine was a show-stopping sight wearing the Vasette gown by Georgia Young which boasts a beautiful sculptural pleated neckline and an elegant floral print. She found her dress of dreams at The One in Rathmines in Dublin and she accessorised with pearl drop earrings from One Dame Lane and sleek slingbacks by Mango.

Elegance personified! Cillian wore a naxy tux from Louis Copeland & Sons with a jacket boasting black satin lapels with shoes from Remus Uomo.

So darling! The flower girls and page boys were dressed to impress in ensembles from Next.

200 of their loved ones joined them for the joy-filled summer wedding and the couple exchanged vows at St Oliver Plunkett church in Co. Louth.

Celebrating their union surrounded by all those they cherish was the top priority. “For us, it was really all about the people and the music. We had our siblings by our side as our bridal party, which made it all the more meaningful. “

The music in the church was unforgettable they say with Ulster String Quartet playing Taylor Swift for the bride and Oasis for the groom! “Hearing those songs in that setting was just magical.”

The couple sourced their wedding rings at Bespoke Diamonds.

Lush foliage adorned the church entrance way and the pew ends which were also decorated with hand-sewn pink bows by Áine’s aunty.

The coffee truck courtesy of Rocksalt Café ensured their guests were fuelled for the major party ahead of them.
