Melissa and Jason tied the knot in the magnificent surrounds of Luttrellstown Castle, their day of joy was a modern fairytale realised. Their magical winter celebration was filled with romance, heritage, intimate details, and absolutely gorgeous personal touches. The couple had once thought they would have a destination wedding but they felt a wedding on home soil was more practical and it would be easier for their loved ones joining them from all around the world from Australia, Canada, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and the UK!
The couple were blown away by the luxurious castle venue as soon as they stepped foot in the enchanting grounds and they fell for the history, timeless beauty and undeniably romantic atmosphere. It truly was the perfect place to host the wedding they had always dreamt of and it was so special that it was right on their doorstep.
Nice 2 Look captured the splendour of their celebration in all its perfection and the style exuded sophisticated elegance. The bride captivated in a Luce Sposa gown with puffed sleeves with delicate floral detailing and her bridesmaids shone in neutral gowns with chic knotted necklines. Every detail was curated with pure love with key elements of their celebration brought to life by their family and friends which made the celebration all the more personal and heartfelt. Melissa’s mother hand-printed every invitation and menu and her dear friends created her radiant and glamorous makeup look which was complemented with an elegant bun topped with the dreamiest cathedral veil.
Dapper groom Jason opted for a slick and timeless suit from M&S and the floral arrangements by Kate Corway Flowers which included blush and burgundy accents brought a delicate splash of vibrancy to the castle celebration. One of the most emotional moments came at the beginning of the ceremony as Melissa made her grand entrance while her cousins sang Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley. Not only was it a beautiful song to walk down the aisle to but it paid a gorgeous tribute to their love story as Jason had proposed on the rooftop of the Duomo in Milan as a busker played the iconic ballad below. Their moving ceremony also included a handfasting ritual.
They celebrated surrounded by festive sparkle and they held their reception in the ornate ballroom. The night culminated with a fabulous fireworks display which they had always dreamt of having as a symbol of their shared love of celebration and wonder.
