Regardless of what type of hen party you’ve got planned, your pre-wedding bash can be taken up a notch by including a couple of well-chosen hen party games on the itinerary. The Would She Rather? game is a hen party favourite, not only because it’s easy to play and organise, but because it always gets the good vibes flowing (and the bride laughing)!
Would She Rather is a take on the How Well Do You Know the Bride hen party game, but with easy A or B options. Wine or cocktail, dogs or cats, the ability to fly or read minds… anyone can play, and we’ve even created a free printable that you can download and print out to make things even easier.
How to Play Would She Rather
- Give the bride a copy of the quiz and get her to fill in her answers. This can be done in the lead up to the party, or on the day, if there’s spare time. For example, while travelling to the venue.
- On the day, gather all the guests in one place to fill out the quiz sheets. Make sure the tunes are pumping with this Spotify playlist and that everyone has got a glass of bubbly in hand.
- After 10 or 15 minutes, you’re ready to start. Ask each guest to swap their quiz with the person beside them for marking.
- Now comes the fun part! You can do this bit yourself, or have another guest (a confident friend or bridesmaid, for example) take the lead. Read out each question one by one, asking guests to shout out their answers.
- The winner with the most answers right gets the prize!
