Classic style with a contemporary twist, today’s real wedding is sure to steal your heart instantly. Niamh and Jamie celebrated saying yes to forever with an effortless and romantic summer celebration at Kilshane House in Co. Tipperary. Joined by 135 of their cherished people, their happiest day sprung to life in an evocative palette of soft whites, lush greenery and sophisticated pops of navy.
Exquisitely lensed by Pawel Bebenca, their timeless and elegant celebration included a take-your-breath-away bridal look, a heartfelt ceremony with a Guard of Honour led by the groom’s Air Corps classmates, wow florals, a swoon-worthy Lambeth wedding cake, and so many beautiful personal touches. Let’s take a look!

Let’s learn more about our wonderful couple first. Niamh and Jamie both grew up on the Navan Road in Dublin and they are childhood sweethearts. “We’ve been together since we were teenagers. We grew up in the same area, I went to the local girls’ school and Jamie went to the boys’ school. We’ve pretty much grown up side-by-side and the rest is history.”

Jamie proposed while they were on holiday in Italy in June 2023. They were on a boat trip around Capri when he got down on one knee in front of the Lover’s Arch, swoon! Niamh reflects, “It was the most magical moment, people on surrounding boats started cheering! It felt like something out of a movie and a memory we’ll never forget.”

For the couple it was so important that their loved ones had an absolutely incredible day and they also wanted to ensure they enjoyed every moment too. “It was really about fun, love and being present,” Niamh says.

From her romantic bridal robe with sweet sheer sleeves to her fabulous fluffy slippers, can we take a moment for Niamh’s gorgeous wedding morning outfit?

The couple dreamt of a timeless, elegant and classic celebration. “We really wanted a look that would still feel beautiful in years to come.”

The most adorable first look!

Niamh’s breathtaking bridal look exuded timeless sophistication with a fresh twist. She wore a Yolancris column gown with delicate 3D floral accents and a long train from The One by Sinead Corcoran. She accessorised with Prada heels from Brown Thomas, baroque pearl earrings by luxury Irish bridal accessories designer Lori Muldoon and a cathedral veil.

Jamie’s twin nephews, Tadhg and Iarlaith, stole the shone as the mini-groomsmen!

Jamie wore his Air Corps Officer’s Mess dress for the ceremony and his groomsmen wore elegant navy suits by Louis Copeland & Sons.

They travelled in luxury on their special day in a stunning Silver Cloud model Rolls Royce.

The bride made her entrance to Dreams by The Cranberries which was performed beautifully by Aria String Quartet. “It was so emotional and it’s a song that will always mean something to us now.”

The couple tied the knot in the Church of The Annunciation in Bansha, Co. Tipperary, and their ceremony was full of heartfelt and unforgettable moments.

Their ceremony music was amongst the many highlights which included all of their favourites songs from La La Land’s City of Stars to Adore You by Harry Styles. “Our guests are still raving about how amazing Aria String Quartet were.”

Niamh and Jamie found their dream wedding rings at Bespoke Diamonds.

Jamie’s Air Corps classmates performed a Guard of Honour and it was an incredibly special moment for both of them.

Their stationery by Hello Snowflake was refined and romantic with a delicate illustration of their venue included throughout the suite. Their invites also boasted pretty botanical illustrations and luxurious navy ribbons too.

The celebrations began with a cocktail reception and the newlyweds and their guests soaked in the beauty of the luxurious venue from the curvilinear Conservatory to the sophisticated drawing rooms.

The bridal party were all dressed in navy with Niamh’s bridesmaids wearing chic navy off-the-shoulder satin gowns from Club L London. “This paired with the white florals and the stunning backdrop of Kilshane House came together so naturally. It all felt effortless, romantic and very us.”

From the moment they drove up the scenic avenue to Kilshane House, they knew that it was special. “The glass conservatory, the grounds, and the warmth of the staff created this beautiful balance of character and relaxed elegance. It felt like stepping into another world – grand but never overwhelming. The atmosphere encouraged everyone to mingle, relax and just enjoy themselves. It had everything we wanted, and it just felt right from the very beginning.”

They held their reception in the orangerie which was styled with organza ceiling drapes, silver candelabras and oodles of tea lights. “Our flowers and tablescapes, created by Dee from Elderwoods Floristry and our stationery from Hello Snowflake set the tone perfectly,” the bride reminisces.

The Tipperary manor exudes laid-back old-world glamour and coupled with its enchanting verdant estate it is an awe-inspiring location to celebrate tying the knot.

Another really meaningful touch was having their dads, Jamie and Jamie’s brother, who was also his best man, give speeches during the cocktail reception. “It felt intimate, relaxed and set a really joyful tone for the rest of the celebrations.”

Their personalised champagne glasses are so chic!

The Fox And The Flour created their magnificent Lambeth buttercream wedding cake which boasted sumptuous swags and plenty of cherries.

Niamh sheds more light on the aesthetic of their summer celebration, “We were drawn to timeless, classic styling with lots of soft whites and elegant greenery. We wanted everything to feel effortless and romantic without being overly busy. The venue itself was such a strong visual backdrop that we didn’t want to compete with it, just complement it.”

The couple changed up their looks for the reception with Niamh swapping her dreamy diaphanous veil for a very on-trend bridal scarf while Jamie changed into a timeless navy suit by Louis Copeland & Sons.

Niamh urges couples to try and enjoy every single second as the day goes by in a flash. “Go in with the mindset that not everything will go perfectly and that’s ok. Don’t sweat the small stuff. If you’re relaxed and happy, you’ll have the most incredible day.”

They took to the dancefloor for the first time as a married couple to the iconic love song Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. “The ‘I love you baby’ part of this song got everyone on the dancefloor with us and it was so much fun.”

The newlyweds went to Barcelona two days after the wedding to unwind and soak everything in. “We’d highly recommend a little breather like that.” In September they went on a road trip around California travelling to San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Carmel-by-the-Sea, LA, and Malibu. “It was unforgettable and we’d recommend it in a heartbeat.”
