Today we’re bringing you a stunning look with a sweet sustainable story from food and travel content creator Éadaoin Fitzmaurice (@eadaoinfitzmaurice) who is a bride-to-be herself! She looked gorgeous in green as she attended a summer wedding at Glasson Lakehouse in Co. Westmeath in a sublime scarf dress which is a trend has really taken off across the board for brides, bridesmaids and wedding guests alike.

What She Wore
Éadaoin shone in a lustrous midaxi with a statement asymmetric long drape detail. The olive green hue was perfect for a summertime celebration at the idyllic countryside venue and we imagine it was so fun to wear on the dancefloor.
She snapped up the sensational scarf dress second-hand. She tells us, “I nabbed this beautiful green dress on Vinted. It’s from a boutique in France and I purchased it from someone living in France. I absolutely loved the colour, fabric and fit.”

Why She Chose It
With her events calendar filling up, Éadaoin explains she wanted to take a more sustainable approach to her occasion wardrobe. “I’m coming into the stage where I have multiple weddings during the year so a goal of mine coming into this busy period is to buy second hand / borrow dresses from friends / wear something I already own.”
While she loved wearing it, she is sharing the sartorial joy. “I’ve since passed this dress on to a friend who also wore it to a wedding and plan to give it to a dress rental company after one or two more wears.” We love that!
How She Styled It
Éadaoin accessorised with metallic gold accessories which drew out the lustre of the sumptuous satin fabric, just gorgeous.
