Many brides have been DIY-ing what they think is the best bridal manicure shade for the last few years, using two OPI colours, which has led the brand to create a new shade specifically for the trend. This is how Bubble Bunny came about.
OPI Salon Hack
Spring’s most-wanted bridal manicure shade comes from the salon, a hack polish fans have been calling Bubble Bunny for quite a while. The name comes from two shop-bought OPI polishes, Funny Bunny and Bubble Bath, and everyone from Hailey Bieber to Kaia Gerber is a fan of the pair.
Last year, Rosé Nails were a big trend, but it’s been pipped to the post in the pecking order for 2026 by this new trend. A milky white combo, it’s all over Pinterest as inspo for brides, and it looks sublime with every outfit choice during your wedding. This is how it came about.
Bespoke Bridal Manicure
A popular pair of polishes, Bubble Bath is that pretty pale pink, and Funny Bunny is a milky white. Bubble Bath has a hint of peach that mani fans felt needed to be dialled down, so a layer of Funny Bunny on top neutralised that tinge.
And so, a manicure of Bubble Bath with Funny Bunny on top became known as Bubble Bunny in salons everywhere that offered OPI manicures. And then the brand found out about the story.
OPI Bubble Bunny
OPI heard about Bubble Bunny and created a mix of the two, now available as a salon service and a regular nail polish. It has gone viral, and the in-salon gel polish has sold out. It will be back soon, and we imagine it will be in Irish salons as soon as possible.
The at-home nail polish that doesn’t require an LED lamp for curing is available as part of the brand’s OPI Spring Collection. The New OPIcons Duo Pack includes Bubble Bunny and another shade, Bathtime Bubbly, a pretty pink perfect for a pedicure. It won’t be around for long, but Bubble Bunny is spring’s hottest bridal manicure trend.
