Allison and Killian dreamt of an ethereal, boho and fun wedding and their Cloughjordan House celebration had it all! Their fairytale day was inspired by The Princess Bride and The Lord of the Rings and the style was so wonderfully magical. The couple wanted everyone they love to come together and have loads of fun and as the gorgeous images by Folklore Photography show every moment was packed to the brim with pure joy.
Oozing modern whimsy, the style included a fairytale chiffon wedding dress and print-packed mixed gender bridal party looks. With romantic and boho blooms by Willow Florals, which included breathtaking basket bouquets, a vinyl guest book, and a heart-shaped wedding cake too, you can experience all the splendour below!

Originally from Cork city, Allison and Killian found true love after they met on Tinder. After a few months of dating, lockdown came into effect and they decided to move in together into Killian’s parents’ holiday home in West Cork. “We have since the lived in many different places together but finally bought a house in the same area in West Cork that we spent that first few months together in lockdown.”

West Cork plays an integral role in their love story as Killian proposed while they were stayed at an Airbnb in Tooramore overlooking the hills and the sea!

Allison sourced her breathtaking bohemian wedding dress at Bella Bleu, the vintage and vintage-inspired bridal boutique in Cork city. She wore a A-line off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart bodice adorned with gathered and knotted chiffon and ethereal voluminous sleeves.

Allison’s bridesmaids wore fabulous floral print dresses from Folkster with her bridesman opting for a slick pink suit with a coordinating floral print tie.

Her wild and utterly gorgeous bouquet by Willow Florals served up a symphony of sunset shades. Dahlia, cosmos and marigolds were paired alongside various greenery to dial up the lushness.

Allison’s accessories included a handcrafted Juliet cape veil by Blossom & Bluebird made of dotted point d’esprit tulle with leaf and floral corded lace along with Astrid & Miyu jewellery.

Their daughter Maisie was their flower girl along with her cousins Elfie and Ellie all of who looked so adorable.

Whether you’re looking for an alternative to bridesmaids bouquets, or simply looking to add a little something unique and extra to your bridal party looks, floral-filled basket bags are the perfect way to add a unique flowery touch to the special day.

Cloughjordan House matched their vibe perfectly, they especially loved the enchanting forest and the refurbished barn where they held their ceremony.

From vibrant blooms in wicker baskets and playful hand-drawn signage – we’re swooning over their decor of their autumn celebration.

Their ceremony music was performed by The Honeyvoom Duo and their songs included the Gladiator theme tune and Willow by Taylor Swift.

With a flower cloud brimming with rich foliage hanging overhead their ceremony backdrop was a deconstructed arch brimming with romantic blooms and greenery.

In a beautifully moving moment, Allison’s mother recited the poem that she had penned especially for their ceremony.

Their ceremony rituals included jumping the broom which is such a fun way to signal the beginning od your happily ever after!

92 of their nearest and dearest joined them for their magical October fete.

The weather did not exactly play ball but it did not dampen their spirits. “There was a storm on the day of our wedding that would usually be a nightmare but it made the day so fun and intimate.”

Allison’s glowing makeup look was created by Fiona Harrison and Lorraine Browne styled her hair in relaxed waves which perfectly suited her enchanting ethereal gown.

The effortlessly elegant groomswear was from Gentleman’s Quarters in Cork.

Their peg table plan is all kinds of cute!

Their tablescape styling included soft pink napkins, elegant grey table runners and brass candlestick holders. Their stationery was created in Canva and gorgeous clusters of blooms held in bus vases lined the tables.

Heart-shaped wedding cakes are the trendy, romantic confections stealing our stealing hearts right now.

For their first spin around the dancefloor as husband and wife, the couple chose The Night We Met by Lord Huron as their first dance song. How romantic!

They have the following piece of sage advice for couples on the big day, “Put aside a few minute during the day to have a drink and a chat with your husband or wife. The day goes by so quickly!”

“I have nothing by great things to say about Dzifa,” Allison shares. “She was so lovely to deal with, very organised and made the whole process seamless. On the day she was a dream photographer! She went above and beyond to get some great shots!”

Allison and Killian soaked up the excitement of their new chapter together with a honeymoon in sun-soaked Tenerife.
