Hannah is from Toowoomba in Queensland while Luke is from Blue Mountains in New South Wales. They met on Bumble in 2021 during the pandemic lockdown and for their first date they played tennis within the 5km bubble! Fast forward to their proposal and Luke proposed in Cairns the day after Hannah completed her first half Ironman.

When it came to the vibe of their wedding day, Hannah and Luke wanted a celebration that married country chic with a cosy wintery feel.

Today the couple are based in Emu Heights in NSW and 100 of their loved ones joined them for their joy-filled June wedding.

Glowing bride Hannah wore an Essence of Australia gown with a illusion corset detail and heels by Bared Footwear. Her accessories included fingerless sheer gloves, the prettiest pearl veil and a necklace and earrings which were her mother’s that she wore on her wedding day. So magical!

Slick suiting at its finest. The grooms party wore navy suits by MJ Bale with black shoes and bow ties and a flash of vibrancy coming with their red satin pocket squares and their buttonholes.

The couple exchanged vows in the sandstone chapel that boasts idyllic views of the merlot vineyard.

They honoured their loved ones in such beautiful ways throughout the day which included a breathtaking tribute to Hannah’s mum during the ceremony. As they made their entrance her bridesmaids carried lilies, her mother’s favourite flower, and they placed them next to a photo of her.

Archie their cavoodle and Ollie their ruby king charles cavalier were the most adorable VIPups!

Hannah’s bridesmaids looked wonderful in burgundy gowns from Billy J with asymmetrical necklines which looked so beautiful alongside their vibrant bouquets.

Their stationery and the stunning flowers, which included king protea, carnations, baby’s breath and foliage such as eucalyptus, were all done DIY. Incredible!

They fell in love with the warm and wintery feel that they got from Peppers Creek. They also loved that they could hold their entire celebration in the one place and that they could stay on-site and make a whole weekend of their celebration.

Hannah and Luke shed more light on the look and feel of their June bash, “We wanted a chill, laid back, cosy winter wedding. We didn’t want things to be too ‘over the top’ and it was just perfect in the end. It was such a special day to have our closest friends and family near by. It was such an incredible day.”

Their reception was held in the wonderfully rustic Barrel Room with the styling including verdant foliage, wooden signage and place names and tonnes of sparkling fairy lights.

Their wedding favours were so sweet and personal. They trawled through their photos to find images of themselves with their guests and then they wrote beautiful messages on the back and had them framed.

From their awe-inspiring Lambeth buttercream wedding cake to their bounty of scrumptious sweet treats, Hannah and Luke’s dessert line-up has us drooling.

From a live wedding painter capturing the unforgettable moment they walked down the aisle together as newlyweds to a spectacular champagne tower, Hannah and Luke’s celebration had it all.

Their key piece of wedding advice is, “Slow down with the planning, and enjoy the process.”

They took to the dancefloor for the first time as a married couple to Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers.

They also had a memorial ladder to honour their late loved ones which held beautiful photos of them, what a gorgeous tribute!

The newlyweds cut their cake outside which was followed by a dazzling fireworks display. Wow!

For their honeymoon, the couple planned an adventure around Europe for four weeks. “It was magical! Our favourite place was an island of the coast of Italy called Ischia. We also made it to Wimbeldon which was an experience!”
