Alice and Anthony wed in fairytale style at the romantic forest Château de Saint Martin du Tertre. The historic 19th-century castle set a classical and magical stage for their autumn fete with intentionality at its heart. With an aesthetic inspired by French refinement and natural and organic floral design, their softly poetic and endlessly romantic wedding is sure to leave you saying, “Ooh la la!”
Their day unfolded in intimate and sophisticated style, every moment was unforgettable. A graceful Rosa Clará wedding dress (and not to mention dazzling Jimmy Choos), pretty pastel blooms, bridesmaids in raspberry shades, a breathtaking first look location, a flower-filled outdoor ceremony, and a photoshoot bathed in the most radiant light, we know you will fall head over heels for every picture-perfect detail. Discover and delight in their captivatingly chic celebration that was captured magically by luxury fine art wedding photographer Pascal Vo.

Originally from Laos is Southeast Asia, Alice and Anthony live in Paris which is where their story started. They tell us, “We met at a Laotian cultural event. We immediately connected through shared roots and values. What started as a simple conversation about food and traditions led to long walks along the Seine and, eventually, a beautiful love story.”

Glittering Jimmy Choos, Chanel’s iconic Coco Mademoiselle scent and romancecore stationery by Encres & Nuances, we are already so in love with the details.

Their proposal took place in the French alpine town of Annecy. Anthony popped the question early in the morning on a lakeside dock while the mist was still rising over the water. Intimate and quiet, it was absolutely perfect for them.

The dreamt of a simple, soft and poetic celebration with a romantic atmosphere and planner Cassandra Albertini ensured their wildest wedding desires were realised. “We chose delicate pastel florals and refined décor to keep everything elegant yet understated, creating a calm and timeless aesthetic that felt truly personal to us.”

Anthony’s wedding day ensemble which included a crisp white tuxedo jacket had a delightful hint of old Hollywood glamour.

They said ‘I do’ on a September day surrounded by 150 of their nearest dearest. Their dream day was blessed with soft sunlight that made the style and joy shine even brighter.

The feminine floral design by Poétique Paris offered a fresh take on classic elegance. The palette of cream, soft peach and tonal pink blossoms complemented the blond stone facades of the chateau beautifully and they brought an ethereal serenity to their autumn celebration.

Their first look absolutely melted our hearts and gave us real Bridgerton vibes.

“We wanted an experience that felt personal and intentional,” they share. “Beautiful surroundings, great food, meaningful traditions, and time to enjoy our guests.” Hiring the perfect photographer and videographer were also top priorities so they could preserve the memories forever.

Full of heartfelt moments, their ceremony included a beautiful ceremony reading from The Little Prince which they selected because it speaks to love, responsibility, and connection.

Having all the people who mean the most to them gathered in one place made the celebration truly special and they felt their love in every moment. “Their words, their emotions and the heartfelt speeches they shared were incredibly touching. Those personal moments with our families and closest friends mattered more than anything and are the memories we cherish the most.”

They stayed completely true to themselves throughout the entire celebration and that meant foregoing a first dance. “We’re both quite reserved and didn’t want to feel in the spotlight or force ourselves into something that didn’t feel like us. Keeping the day true to who we are was important, and skipping the first dance helped us avoid any unnecessary stress or pressure so we could simply enjoy the moment.” We love that!

When it comes to wedding planning advice they urge couples to trust their vendors and to surround themselves with a team who truly cares for their vision. “In our case, our photographer played a key role. He guided us throughout the planning process and helped structure the day so we could enjoy every moment while also getting the best possible photos. He strongly encouraged us to work with a day-of coordinator, and it ended up being the best decision we made. Everything felt smooth and stress-free. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose the exact same team and make the very same decisions.”

They went to Japan for two weeks on their honeymoon. They soaked up the sights of Kyoto, Hakone and Tokyo and they would recommend it wholeheartedly.
