Cavan beauty Emma and Leitrim gent Ronan wed in an intimate yet lively celebration at Virginia Park Lodge. With both of their parents having passed away, the couple wanted their special day to celebrate togetherness, gratitude, and remembering cherished loved ones – particularly the bride’s dad – in a way that felt natural, meaningful and understated. They wanted a casual and relaxed atmosphere so that they could be fully present and happy and have much fun as much as possible alongside all their favourite people without feeling rushed and stressed. Laughter was the true soundtrack to their gorgeous day!
They chose the storybook pretty Cavan venue for its welcoming atmosphere, incredible food, beautiful gardens, and the natural light in the reception space. The wedding morning began for Emma at her family home which included everything from monochrome PJs to chic bows, while Ronan prepared nearby Joined by 170 of their nearest and dearest, their celebration was bathed in the kind of glorious sunshine you dream of and the aesthetic was timeless yet wonderfully modern. The glowing bride was the epitome of elegance wearing a Chosen by Kyha gown (with her accessories including a wonderfully romantic 3D floral veil) and the groom opted for not one but two immensely dapper looks.
The couple were keen to feel like part of the celebration rather than the centre of attention and the speeches were planned to be a little different to reflect their personalities and they were full of such heart. From stationery with hints of olive green to garden-inspired white blooms and dancefloor-packing entertainment from The Mixtape, we will be dreaming of this sun-kissed wedding forever.
