An Ashley Park House Wedding with a Gorgeous Green Palette

Artisanal, homey, chic and understated, today’s real wedding at Ashley Park House will leave you breathless. With planning and styling by the bride herself, Brianna and Conor had a hand in shaping every part of their celebration and it was a spectacle of romantic style and unbridled joy. Brianna is an event producer and Conor is a chef and they wanted to ensure their favourite people felt completely taken care and could have the best time possible.

We know your jaw will be on the floor when you see Brianna’s breathtaking wedding dress with a botanical twist and her leading ladies were bewitching in black. The couple’s last name, Greene, was the driver for their colour palette with a verdant edge and baby’s breath and calla lilies bloomed magically. With handmade elements that made their celebration so uniquely theirs, so much downright dreamy inspiration awaits you in their beautiful wedding photos from Darren Fitzpatrick below.

The bride created their stationery which exuded timeless elegance. Their invitation suite included a watercolour painting and illustrations of their romantic wedding venue with a bespoke letter press. The forest green envelopes brought a sophisticated splash of colour which also tied with the verdant surroundings of the Tipperary venue.

Let’s get to know our wonderful couple more. Conor is from Glasson in Co. Westmeath while Brianna hails from Yonkers, New York. They met in an Irish bar in Brooklyn called The Craic, brilliant!

Conor popped the question over a fourth of July holiday weekend. He got down on one knee on a rainy day at beautiful beach in Montauk, NY. The drizzle did not dampen their spirits, in fact it made the moment all the more atmospheric and magical.

“Eat. Drink. Dance. Laugh,” were the top priorities for the celebration. “The wedding felt very true to who we are as people,” Brianna reflects. “We love to entertain people and we love to throw dinner parties. We wanted the wedding to feel like a grand version of how we host people in our home. Elevated and chic, but rustic and approachable.”

Brianna’s jaw-dropping and gorgeous wedding dress ended up being a large inspiration for their wedding aesthetic, although Conor did not know it at the time.

Adorned with colourful floral embroidery and light-catching sequins, Brianna was a botanical beauty in her modern and feminine wedding dress by Dany Tabet which she bought at Lovely Bride. She accessorised with dark green vintage Manolo Blahnik heels and custom jewellery from Poiesis Studio which boasted sparkling emerald gems.

With Sandra from Forever Blossom on floral design, delicate clouds of baby’s breath underpinned the styling throughout their celebration.

We’re misty-eyed after seeing Brianna’s first look with her proud dad and bridal besties.

Brianna and Conor were joined by 170 of their nearest and dearest as they tied the knot at St. Mary of the Rosary Church in Nenagh.

Simultaneously simplistic and bold, Brianna’s bridesmaids carried single stem bouquets of calla lilies tied with cream long satin ribbons.

They loved curating the perfect soundtrack to their dream day and they hand-selected every piece of music to play at key moments throughout. Conor’s cousin performed their ceremony and cocktail hour music which made those experiences all the more special. Toria’s 50th for the church entrance and Shallow River Run by Amble for the recessional were the standout pieces of the ceremony.

Every time they showed their loved ones pictures of Ashley Park House they got the same reaction “Oh that is so you.” They knew they had found ‘the one’ and they trusted their intuition and booked their date site unseen.

Conor’s wedding day look was all about timeless sophistication. He wore a navy tux from Suitsupply with contrast black lapels, a crisp white shirt, a black velvet bowtie, Tiffany & Co. monogrammed cufflinks, black patent shoes from Suitsupply, and a vintage Rolex watch. His groomsmen picked their own suits and they were the most elegant line-up in classic black tuxes.

Bridesmaids in black dresses can really make a statement, it’s a chic choice the suits every style of wedding. Brianna’s ladies also selected their own outfits and they looked utterly fabulous in mismatched dresses.

The vibe of their celebration was “artisanal, homey, chic, and understated”, Brianna highlights.

They held their wedding speeches outside and tears of joy flowed freely while felt-in-your-belly laughter filled the air.

Surrounded by serene woodlands and its very own sparkling lake, Ashley Park House provides a stunning and memorable backdrop for your wedding day as you can see from their downright divine wedding photos.

Effortlessly refined, calla lilies have been gracefully exploding in popularity in weddings again recently. The bride carried a bouquet of the sculptural blooms tied with a sage satin ribbon.

While Conor opted for a gold claddagh ring from Galway Brianna wore a custom band by Poiesis Studio.

Brianna also designed their seating chart which included handwritten postcards from NY & Ireland as escort cards. She also hand-painted the chic table numbers which carried the same lush hue.

They used decor supplied by their venue which was supplemented with hand-picked items by the bride. Floral crockery brought a hint of vintage charm to the marquee reception tablescape design while clusters of baby’s breath in brass holders made for pretty and minimal centrepieces. Fairy lights and chandeliers hung overhead bringing a magical hint of sparkle.

The couple sat together at a sweetheart table which was styled with pillar candles in ribbed glass holders, taper candles in taller glass holders and bursts of baby’s breath brought a delightful burst of drama to the styling.

Their heart-shaped Lambeth buttercream wedding cake from Quigley’s Cafe & Bakery in Nenagh is giving us real-life heart eyes.

Another unforgettable moment of their autumn wedding was when the newlyweds hit the dancefloor for the first time as husband and wife to Into the Mystic by Van Morrison.

They included the sweet American tradition of a father-daughter dance and the duo swayed to Blue Sky by the Allman Brothers. Conor danced with his mum to Days Like This by Van Morrison.

As for advice for couples planning their special day Brianna says, “You won’t be able to please everyone, so just ignore the noise and do whatever it is that will make you the happiest about your day.”

They celebrated with a day two at The Villager in Conor’s hometown of Glasson Village where he had his first chef job.

The newlyweds enjoyed a mini-moon at Wineport Lodge in Athlone which is a scenic sanctuary and perfect for relaxing and recharging after all the excitement of their wedding. “Then we made our way back down to Tip for a short stay at Cashel Palace Hotel. Eat, sleep, sauna…repeat.”

Congratulations Brianna and Conor! A very special thank you to our fabulous couple and to Darren Fitzpatrick for sharing their magical Ashley Park House wedding with One Fab Day! Be sure to swing by the gallery for even more inspiration.
