Irish influencer Louise Cooney and her fiancé Mark Sweeney are set to say ‘I do’ at Cashel Palace Hotel in Tipperary. From where she said ‘yes to the dress’ to why their venue is so sweetly personal to her, here is everything we know so far about their big day.

How They Met
It was a modern-day love story for Louise and Mark as they met online in 2020 during the pandemic. The Limerick-born content creator had just moved home from New York, and things just clicked as they got to know each other on walks and other low key activities, seeing as everything else was shut down.
The couple moved into gether in 2023 as they moved in togetherh with more joy to follow as they welcomed their beautiful boy Jude world into the world on 9th November, 2023 – which also happens to be Mark’s birthday. Announcing their wonderful news she penned, “You have changed our world forever. We are so in love.”




The Engagement
Mark popped the question in August 2024 during a beach trip at Spanish Point in Co. Clare. Their baby boy played a huge part in making the moment all the more unforgettable.
She had the “best weekend ever” and the celebrations included a swoon-worthy Lambeth buttercream engagement cake.


The Venue
Louise and Mark considered a destination wedding but they ultimately chose a location which a deep personal connection to the influencer.
While Louise grew up in Limerick both of her parents are from Tipperary and she spent a lot of her childhood there.
When they viewed Cashel Palace Hotel they were blown away by the friendly team and they thought the venue instantly felt like home, one staff member even knew Louise’s grandfather.


The Hen
She celebrated with her favourite people in sensational style with a fun-filled hen abroad.
The destination? London baby… Spot the super cute stickers that her pals had made for the flight and we loved her statement Marella skirt worn for her flight.
Later on that night she changed into a gorgeous Rosie Étienne number, for a meal at SUSHISAMBA restaurant in London.




From Swiftie hen party decor to soaking up the sights of the city on a champagne tour, Louise’s close friends and family pulled out all the stops to ensure she had a ball.
Her hen party crew included influencers Terrie McEvoy, Carol Byrne and Mark Rogers along with stylists Lorna Claire Weightman and Clémentine MacNeice.


Her style exuded modern romance and included everything from a statement Marella skirt with a huge flower-embroidered detail for the airport to magical minis for the nights out and on-trend accessories such ethereal sheer opera gloves.

The Style
The bride-to-be sourced the dress of her dreams at Verona Bridal in Belfast. Given what we have seen from her wedding wardrobe have no doubt she will absolutely wow on her special day.



The Night Before
The bride-to-be was bursting with excitement as she travelled down to their wedding venue with her very soon-to-be hubby and she opted for a chic tailored suit for the trip.
Louise shed light on the prep from the day before including their son’s cot and how they had the Child of Prague out in the garden at home to hopefully bless them with beautiful weather.

Influencer Dearbhla Silke who is her bridesmaid gave a snapshot of their gorgeous custom bridesmaid goodies.
They included baby pink silky pjs by the Irish label Love Laura with red piping, a scalloped collar and bow details, a bottle of bubbly, a personalised makeup bag, and a personalised carrier bag.

The celebrations kicked off with a rehearsal dinner at Mikey Ryan’s Bar & Grill in Cashel and the tablescape styling included personalised satin bows.

The bride-to-be exuded effortless elegance in a bridal co-ord which appears to be the Faye boned top with a floor-length drape and the Charlotte flared tailored trousers by Nadine Merabi.
