We have a real treat for you with today’s style and joy-packed real wedding Cailín and Zach. Cailín is from Belfast and Zach is from Texas and they tied the knot at the alternative wedding venue Altahammond Wedding Barn. Nestled on the coast of County Antrim coast, the homely barn set a magical stage for their rustic, fall-themed celebration that was all about the good vibes. They made memories to last forever with their loved ones and lucky for us CM Photography was on hand to capture every magical moment. Timeless rustic wedding elegance awaits you, enjoy!

Based in Belfast today, Cailín and Zach met when they were working for the London ambulance service. Cailín tells us, “We were both stationed out of Camden complex and met while on shift. Zach tried to woo me with his ECG reading skills. He then asked me out to go get some steak which I thought was very Texan of him. I said how about some drinks first, dinners a bit too formal for the first date and then the rest was history!”

Cailín loves Pride & Prejudice and Zach made one of her dreams come true when he chose the location to propose in December 2023. He popped the question at Chatsworth House which was the filming location for My Darcy’s estate Pemberley in the 2005 film adaptation. “I had always wanted to see that house, I also love Christmas so the setting was perfect. However Zach decided to break his ankle five days before the proposal and it almost didn’t happen! Luckily it all came together and he just had to hobble down onto one knee!

The wedding morning was packed with unforgettable moments including an utterly gorgeous first look between the bride and her parents. The happy tears were free-flowing!

100 of their nearest and dearest joined them for their celebration on a perfect autumn day in October which they describe as a, “Quirky barn style wedding, when Texas met Ireland!”

They tied the knot in front of a spellbinding ceremony backdrop of foliage and leaves in an array of warm hues while chairs were styled with wooden hearts and candles lined the aisle.

Her bridesmaids were absolutely enchanting in neutral bridesmaids dresses from Coast.

The bride was breathtaking in a bespoke wedding dress by CCM Design with a ruched bodice and long sleeves. She accessorised heels from Shein, delicate pearl earrings and a wonderfully romantic lace-trimmed veil. Theresa Toner created her bridal look which was all about sophisticated yet understated elegance and her sleek bun was done by Ryan James Ebbit.

Handmade stationery, floating tea candles in tall glass cylinders and centrepieces bursting with rustic autumn foliage and tiny pumpkins made up the beautiful tablescape styling.

Another jaw-dropping feature was their heart-shaped Lambeth buttercream wedding cake by Gemma Robinson which was adorned with luxurious swags and crimson cherries.

There’s something supremely sophisticated about a tweed, it’s such a wonderful fabric to look smart and keep cosy. The grooms party wore elegant suits by Ludlow which perfectly spoke to the rustic theme.

A family friend did the flowers and Cailín carried a bouquet brimming with calla lilies, baby’s breath and eucalyptus which exuding romantic elegance.

From an epic confetti photo to a turn in a tractor, the atmosphere was utterly joyous on the day.

Including golden leaves, lush foliage and sunflowers, their floral reception styling was textural and timeless.

Sheer fabric drapery further cemented the contemporary chicness of their celebration whilst adding to the romantic atmosphere.

Under glowing festoon lights, the couple took to the dancefloor for the first time as husband and wife.

We want to thank Cailín and Zach for letting us share their gorgeous day and we wish them every happiness for the future. A special thanks to CM Photography for capturing the magic of their breathtaking barn wedding so beautifully. Head to the full gallery to see more of this stunning wedding.
