This stunning wedding film from White & Gold is sure to have you in a party frame of mind. Flavia and Paul marched to the beat of their own drum with their disco-infused wedding. The couple picked the charming alternative wedding venue Mount Druid in Co. Westmeath and their celebration was loaded with warm colour, incredible music and a “sprinkling of devilment”. Vibrant and energetic, it was an unforgettable party spent with their favourite people and they tied the knot on a very special day too, their 11th anniversary. Their friend Rosanna who is a designer helped them bring their dream aesthetic to life and the couple said their “I dos” in the Tin Chapel where a flock of origami birds hung above the alter. As they both come from musical families, music played a key role on the day, like how old vinyl records were tied to pew ends with ribbon. The couple wanted to include as many family and close friends involved in their ceremony as possible.
Flavia’s cousin Daire provided the spine-tingling processional by performing Galileo by Dylan O’Rourke while Flavia’s grandfather Tony gave a rousing rendition ceremony reading of Scaffolding by Seamus Heaney. Flavia was the most dazzling bride in her sparkling sequin wedding dress by & For Love and sweetly her cousin’s signature was stitched into the lining! Her bridesmaids wore navy mix and match bridesmaids gowns which set off their vibrant, texture-packed bouquets so elegantly. We loved their table plan idea at their reception where they used vinyl albums covers. Paul’s sister Alma was the confectionary genius behind their beautiful wildflower wedding cake. They chose Oh Darling by The Beatles for their first dance song and while their wedding was one big party from start to finish BeatClub dialled up the electric atmosphere further and the dancefloor was thriving all night long.
