Celebrity weddings are a great source of inspiration and we saw so many famous faces tie the knot in 2024. From a yacht elopement to a cowboy black-tie bash, these celebrities celebrated their special days, their way, that’s for sure. If you want bridal party style inspiration prepare for everything from vintage after-party minis to Barbiecore bridesmaids gowns.

There were unique accents aplenty too, with a cocktail-stocked trolley tour bus and even a “horse bridesmaid” in the mix. The nuptials came in all shapes and sizes, with everything from a secret morning ceremony before work to a months-long celebration costing many, many, many millions of dollars! Usher & Jenn Goicoechea

In February, R&B mega star Usher followed up headlining the Super Bowl halftime show by saying ‘I do’ to Jenn Goicoechea. The couple tied the knot in a drive-thru wedding at The Fast Lane in Las Vegas.

From the groom’s statement monochrome tux to the bride’s text embroidered veil, and not to mention the bouquet of red peonies and white roses and of course the vintage convertible car, the vibe was undeniably retro!

The Stranger Things actress and son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi wed in a secret ceremony in May. It was a “low-key romantic affair” with their closest family. The couple are said to be following it up with a bigger celebration in the US. They announced their engagement in April 2023 after two-and-a-half years of dating.

Another couple to have a hush-hush wedding was Donald Glover and Michelle White. They said their ‘I dos’ in a secret morning ceremony in January and afterwards the actor went back to work on his show Mr & Mrs Smith! The Emmy winner told The Hollywood Reporter, “There was a day where I don’t think we had to be on set until noon or 1, so, I was like, ‘Can we get married today?'” That night they enjoyed a meal at their favourite restaurant and they had a ‘real wedding’ after.

The wedding of Bachelor alum took place on his wife’s family’s 300-acre farm in Georgia in April. From the blue and white floral arch to Natalie’s custom Cinq wedding dress, the style oozed modern romance. Guests arrived in vintage trolley tour buses stocked with cocktails and bubbly, how fun!

The proud groom was overcome with emotion as he saw his bride walk down the aisle during their pond-side ceremony carrying their two-month-old daughter River Rose and they released homing pigeons into the air after exchanging vows. Their “no formalities” reception was held in a large tent on the grounds which included open food stations, a DJ and a champagne tower.

Call Her Daddy podcaster Alex Cooper and producer Matt Kaplan married in a beachy celebration in Riviera Maya in Mexico in April. Alex donned seven show-stopping looks which included several vintage dresses like a hand-embroidered tulle Donna Karan dress and a high-low midi with a layered tulle bodice from the 2003 Alexander McQueen collection which was styled with a neck scarf. For the ceremony, she wore a basque waist Danielle Frankel ballgown.

The couple wanted to revamp tradition and the bride followed in her mother’s footsteps by choosing to walk down the aisle alone. Dogs make paw-fect wedding guests and their beloved goldendoodles Henry and Bruce were ring bearers. Instead of doing a first dance they invited everyone to join them for a first shot instead and the festivities stretched into the early hours with dance-offs and crowd-surfing.

It was an undeniably glamorous day of love for Erin McGregor and Terry Kavanagh as they tied the knot at the five-star Cashel Palace Hotel in Tipperary. Erin, who is the sister of Irish MMA star Conor McGregor, wore an intricate lace Zuhair Murad gown with a corset-inspired bodice and her bridal party were in mix and match white bridesmaids dresses with diamanté belts from Folkster.

The couple wanted their special day to be as comfortable as possible for their son Harry who has autism so they opted for an outdoor ceremony. They exchanged vows in front of an epic white floral arch and they put their own lovely spin on their sand ceremony. The couple used pink and blue-coloured sand, collected from Sandymount Beach where they had their first date. From their flower-filled reception to their five-tier wedding cake to the bride’s second-look wedding dress and a dazzling fireworks display, their 135 guests were left wowed.

There was a whimsical air to the UK wedding of the Saint Trinian’s actress and Love, Actually star which took place in Anstey, Hertfordshire, in June. Talulah wowed in a silk taffeta white ballgown wedding dress with sweet bows on the straps while Thomas made a retro statement with his floral print waistcoat and a coat with tails.

Their special day was loaded with unique touches including a “horse bridesmaid” with white roses woven through its mane which was arranged as a surprise by the groom! They took a horse-drawn carriage to their reception was held in the field across from their home and even included a merry-go-round.

Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant 

A celebration of love seen around the world. Anant Ambani, the son of India’s richest man, married his childhood sweetheart and pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant in a extravagant six-day wedding in Mumbai in July. Considering their pre-wedding events spanned months and continents, which included Rihanna performing at their Hastakshar ceremony, it was always expected to be a no-expenses-spared bash.

The main ceremony took place at the Jio World Convention Centre which was styled to emulate the winding streets of Varanasi with 20 million flowers and 1,000 crystal chandeliers amongst the décor. Guests received an 18-page dress code and guests celebrated in the billion dollar 27-storey home of the Ambani family also. The lavish event was attended by notable figures from the world of business, technology and entertainment with celebrities including Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. From astounding jewellery to entertainment including astrology readings, it was a breathtakingly unique occasion. It’s estimated that their entire wedding cost anywhere between $300-$600 million.

A yacht elopement in the Caribbean Ocean, how dreamy! After their civil ceremony in January, the newlyweds were joined by a handful of their nearest and dearest for their elopement ceremony in Anguilla which took place on a 158-foot superyacht. The American model’s daughters were truly adorable flower girls in Mona Lisa fit and flare dresses while the bride looked phenomenal in a Zuhair Murad wedding dress. After the vows, they partied for three days island hopping and swinging by various beach clubs.

The princess paired a very sentimental accessory with her 3D floral applique Tina Steffenakk Hermansen wedding dress. It was a pearl and diamond tiara that she was gifted by her grandfather King Olav V for her 18th birthday.

The bridal party looked fabulous in satin pastel pink bridesmaids dresses with mix and match necklines. The wedding weekend events ranged from a cocktail drinks reception with a “sexy and cool theme” to fjord boat rides and a salsa party.

A timeless wedding with classical New England charm. The former Miss Universe and NFL star said yes to forever with a coastal wedding at Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. The bride looked sensational wearing three Dolce & Gabbana dresses including a crepe crewneck ballgown which exuded modest minimalism and was styled with a 16-foot veil.

After their intimate ceremony, the couple travelled in style in a vintage Rolls-Royce. During cocktail hour on the veranda, their guests could drink up the hypnotic views of the Atlantic Ocean with a side of chilled lobster rolls. She wore a high-waisted chiffon gown for the reception where guests were greeted with a floral arch including peonies, ranunculus and oak leaf hydrangea. Later, Olivia dazzled in a silk bodysuit with a mini cage skirt adorned with organza flowers.

The Gossip Girl actor and Supergirl starlet had originally planned in eloping to Africa and getting married in a forest, but they couldn’t miss out on celebrating their special day with their loved ones. Surrounded by ocean, hills and vineyards, they wed in a three-day destination wedding on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The festivities kicked off with a sunset cruise on the Motonave Patrizia with a blue and white décor, live Italian music and Neapolitan-style food. Their ceremony at the 16th-century Castello di Rocca Cilento was loaded with white cherry blossom trees and flowers.

Their candle-lit reception included a towering five-tier cake with white chocolate, candied roses, vanilla cream and a choux pastry cookie base. The glowing bride picked a silk strapless Mikado Alberta Ferretti ceremony gown with her Atelier Pronovias reception dress and gloves boasting twinkling bi-coloured crystals.

Spotted: Gossip Girl alum Jessica Szohr’s sensationally scenic nuptials in Arizona. She tied the knot with former NFL player Bradley Richardson at the luxury golf club Pine Canyon in a four-day bash with 150 of their friends and family.

Her wedding wardrobe included three Galia Lahav gowns with her glittering ceremony dress accompanied with a bespoke veil embroidered with a special quote from her grandfather, “Take Time to Smell the Roses.” Her GG co-star Chase Crawford celebrated with her maid of honour was Nina Dobrev star of The Vampire Diaries.

To mark ten years as husband and wife, the couple threw an anniversary party in Germany that “picked up where their wedding left off” – it was the after-party they’d always dreamt of. The three-day, fashion-forward fete took place in Baden-Baden in June. For the cocktail party at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa guests were encouraged to get their sparkle on they sipped on Bollinger bubbly. The event styling across the weekend included a moss-covered dining table and cherry blossom arrangements, while Fritz & Felix was bedecked with paradise palms and darkly-hued flowers.

Of course we have to talk about the wardrobe, the fashion icon delivered in marvelous style. The City alum donned three Giambattista Valli dresses which included a twirl-worthy silk cloqué dress with guipure lace while she sported an apple green silk taffeta draped dress for their lunch at Iffezheim Racecourse. Also in her wedding anniversary wardrobe were custom Casadei Blade C+C heels with her and Johannes’ initials embossed on the sole. To dance the night away she wore a sequin LBD by Bronx & Bando which she paired with a Judith Leiber Couture crystal-dashed sunglass clutch.

Annie Clark & Luke Karaim

The Degrassi: The Next Generation actress and her hockey player fiancé chose a bewitching Gothic Revival castle-style mansion in Toronto as their wedding venue. They wed at Casa Loma in an elegant yet whimsical celebration which was peppered with pastel tones such as mint and peach and featured lush flowers and gilded accents. The bride fell in love with her Lihi Hod A-line floral lace gown for its grown-up princess vibes and sweetly her father officiated their ceremony.

Their décor for the reception in the grand library included textured linens and fine china. The couple broke from tradition by cutting their cake, which was a vintage-inspired Lambeth confection, in private. Guests adjourned to the conservatory after dinner and they were served late-night snacks of mini cheeseburgers and truffle fries to ensure they had ample of energy for the dancefloor.

This snow-misted wedding in New York was so magical. The How I Met Your Mother actor and clinical psychologist married at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley in January. They exchanged vows in front of 174 of their loved ones outdoors as snow gently fell. While we have tips on how to deal with rain on your wedding day, the newlyweds didn’t let an unexpected blizzard dampen their spirits. After they were snowed in they kept the good times rolling with an all-night party.

Hugh Grosvenor found his Duchess in Olivia Henson. Their fairytale day began with their ceremony at Chester Cathedral which was attended by 400 guests including Princess Eugenie with Prince William serving as usher.

Olivia wore a bespoke Emma Victoria Payne wedding dress which boasted scalloped accents and a six-foot train. The embroidery on her dress and veil were inspired by her great-grandmother wedding dress from around 1880. She donned the Fabergé Myrtle Leaf tiara and carried a bouquet including ox eye daisies, iris, clematis, astrantia, and sweet pea which were picked from the gardens of the billionaire duke’s home, Eaton Hall, where they held their reception.

Yellowstone stars Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison made their on-screen romance official in real life with their elegant western black-tie wedding. The celebrations kicked off with a cocktail welcome party in a club in Downtown Dallas that had been transformed into an old-time Western bar with a mariachi band and Texas wildflowers.

The couple wanted an intimate ceremony that celebrated their Texan heritage and it was held at the bride’s family ranch. The actors exchanged vows in a cathedral-style tented conservatory filled with delicate white and blush flowers and fluffy pampas grass. Hassie wore a 3D floral corset wedding dress by Galia Lahav and then she changed into a Netta BenShabu sparkling fringe mini dress for their surprise cosmic-cowboy after-party which featured plenty of neon lights and even a disco saddle suspended from the ceiling.
